Cook’s Landing is located in 1770 on the Discovery Coast in the Gladstone region.
The Town of 1770 is a picturesque seaside village surrounded on three sides by the Coral Sea, Bustard Bay and the 1770 inlet.
Agnes Water is the northernmost surfing beach in Queensland and 1770 accesses the southernmost end of the Great Barrier Reef.
1770 is easily accessible with regular national flights to Bundaberg (70 minutes drive) or Gladstone (90 minutes drive, and a booming industrial port and LNG processing centre).
There is holiday accommodation in houses, apartments and two caravan and camping parks to cater for visitors. A general store, two restaurants and small marina are located here.
